Post Graduate Homeopathic Program 2010-2011
Toronto School of Homeopathic Medicine
'The Road to Clinical Mastery'
Clinical mastery is a goal all homeopaths aspire to but many find difficult to achieve. The purpose of our post graduate homeopathic program is to inspire confidence and increase success in the consulting room. It is intended as an extension to, and a deepening of existing clinical skills following classical Hahnemannian principles of homeopathic case-taking, analysis and case management.
In addition to many live clinic sessions, the casework of the old masters is also studied in order that we may glean pearls of wisdom to guide us in our own practices. Hahnemann encouraged us to "imitate me, but imitate me well".
Boenninghausen, Lippe, Hering, Pulford, Nash, Wells, etc. followed this advice and achieved unparalleled success in their time. This sort of success is within our reach as well!
Special components on the homeopathic treatment of cancer, diabetes, hypertension, autoimmune diseases and animals are also included.
The post graduate homeopathic program is open to all professional homeopaths and naturopaths.

Here's What Some Of Our Post-grad Grads say about TSHM's 'Road to Clinical Mastery':
" I began my practice in October 2007 and moved to another province in 2008. So, the opportunity to take a fellowship year with the Toronto School of Homeopathic Medicine entailed travel back and forth between Calgary and Toronto. My committment was met with great reward. This has been a year of study with some of the finest homeopaths in North America. Questions related directly to practice were addressed. Guidance for future study was available helping me to focus my intent with this great art. And, most importantly, I have gained confidence and new friends. Thank you for this very special year!"
Charlotte Robertson DSHM FSHM
"Continuing on with a 4th year of homeopathic study was incredibly valuable. The fellowship program with TSHM provided me with more advanced case analysis methods, which have enabled me to more accurately discern the genus of each case. Each homeopath who taught in the fellowship program is a pleasure to learn from and to talk with about clinical homeopathy"
Sarah Hutchinson DSHM FSHM
"Homeopathy is the path I chose to seek creative self-expression and to experience fulfillment in life, while being of service to those in need. My journey led me to a rigorous study of classical homeopathy and the completion of the diploma program offered by The Toronto School of Homeopathic Medicine. In the post-graduate program offered by TSHM, I learned more about how to approach a case scientifically and artistically. I was able to work through my own challenging cases and share my insights, and at times, my confusion with the class. Under the guidance of the principle instructor, Joe Kellerstein, I have gained the confidence and courage to tackle difficult cases with greater success."

Canada’s only Council on Homeopathic Education – Accredited CollegeTSHM ‘Road to Clinical Mastery’ Post Graduate Homeopathic Program SyllabusHomeopathic Philosophy- Exploring Hahnemann’s Organon of the Medical Art, Chronic Diseases and his Lesser Writings pertaining to what the physician needs to know in order to cure.
- Understanding Hahnemann’s directions in the 6th edition of the ‘Organon’ for case taking and case management.
- Reviewing the casework of several of the ‘old masters’ of homeopathy to ascertain how they applied Hahnemann’s principles to achieve unsurpassed success in curing chronic disease.
Homeopathic Methodology- In addition to the lecture/workshop format on weekends, there will be ten days (one per month) of ‘live’ clinical training implementing Hahnemann’s method.
- Casetaking techniques and methodology will be emphasized, as Hahnemann says “a case well-taken is half-cured”.
- Case analysis techniques are presented to assist in determining what Hahnemann calls the ‘genius’ of the case, or what it is that really needs to be cured in any individual case.
- Repertorial work is emphasized and the ability to locate the precise rubrics representing the patient’s current state is demonstrated.
- Potency/posology is an area of much confusion in homeopathic practice. This course attempts to clear away the confusion and give reliable techniques for choosing the optimal potency and dosage for each patient’s case.
- Case management is crucial to any practitioner’s success. The opportunity to observe and participate in the treatment of several ‘live’ patients over the duration of the course will help each participant to witness Hahnemannian case management methods at work.
Treating Animals- All species can be treated effectively with homeopathy. Applying Hahnemann’s methods to the homeopathic treatment of animals is studied along with many case examples to illustrate casetaking, analysis and management procedures.
Autoimmune Disorders- Where to find key rubrics
