Looking for a Toronto Health Clinic?
The Toronto School of Homeopathic Medicine promotes classical homeopathy as a prime method for healing the sick through our Teaching Clinic. At the Clinic, our senior student clinicians team up with registered homeopathic practitioners to provide high quality, natural health care. This section will tell you what our fees and hours are, what you can expect from a visit, and what patients say about their treatments.
What To Expect
Your First VisitYour first consultation will be very thorough and last approximately one and a half hours. We want to know all about you! You will be encouraged to talk about yourself as well as your illness. Do not be afraid to mention something that you think is unusual or unimportant. It may be a very important piece of information to the homeopath. Before this appointment, we will mail you a questionnaire. It is designed to help you identify your health needs and to provide your homeopath with a complete medical history. After the initial consultation and a review of your case, your homeopath will select an appropriate treatment to address your health concerns. What Will Your Homeopath Need To Know? To find the right remedy, your homeopath will want to know all about you. You will be asked many questions about yourself as well as your illness, and also about the health of your family, both present and past. Do not be afraid to mention something that you think is unusual or unimportant and please help by giving accurate information. Do remember that anything you say is treated in strict confidence. The initial consultation will probably last an hour or more.

What Our Patients Say
Over the past few years, hundreds of people of all ages and from all walks of life have visited the clinic seeking safe and effective treatment and wanting a choice in health care.
Mitchell is a 6 year old boy, the youngest of 4 children in our family and the only one to be diagnosed with mild Autism at the age of 3. At the time of his diagnosis he had no language, was exceptionally hyperactive, Attention Deficit, would tantrum without any apparent reason, including going into screaming rages and mutating self (aggressively slapping the side of his face until his finger imprints could be seen), and had life threatening allergies to nuts especially, and many other everyday foods such as eggs. At the recommendation of our Pediatrician, Mitchell received a mild dose of Ritalin. This somewhat calmed him down but had many side effects of which the worst was depression. We spent endless hours trying to console him without any success. At times his slapping became worst, he seemed more sensitive than ever and would at the slightest loud noise show extreme emotional sensitivity. At the suggestion of a family member we took Mitchell to see a Homeopathic practitioner (Yourself) and found the results remarkable. In fact, Mitchell has now been under your care for almost 2 years and today is a very different boy than he was 2 years ago. In addition, we have observed the following changes in him: --dramatically improved attention span and language development - he has developed some language (70-80 words) with comprehension being far better. Eye contact, at one time non-existent regardless of his name calling, is very improved.
--Overall temperament - Mitchell is much more at peace with others and especially himself, the self mutilation has virtually stopped, the rages are far less frequent and significantly shorter in length and interaction with other family members is much better.
--Curiosity enhancement - general interest in environment is better and comprehension as a result. For example, Mitchell notices television and is showing preferences for childrenís programs especially those featuring music content. Kindergarten music is a favorite and Mitchell frequently requests favorite songs using a combination of words, facial gestures and hand over hand communication.
...In summary, we would like to say that we owe you a debt of gratitude and wonder how things might have been had our paths not crossed. Please feel free to offer our name for a reference to prospective patients or students, we will be happy to expand on the contents of this letter and share our experience.
